This place was really good and had a large selection of veggie options! We ordered tempura vegetables as an appetizer, they were pretty good but the sweet potatoes were just a touch on the raw side. The rest were cooked to perfection! We tried a lot of the veg roles and they were pretty good but the two that were pretty seemed pretty similar. As far as sushi goes it g came out quick and they have a bar where you can watch the sushi being made. The service was great, cups were kept full and the servers were very kind! I loved the presentation of the sushi, they definitely do a nice job with it all :) I had kind of forgotten about this place so I'm glad my husband said "sushi and stay close!" The perfect spot! They also had what appeared to be a brisk to go business if that's more your style!

Best sushi place in the Columbus suburbs. We have been enjoying Sapporo for years and years and they never disappoint. After likely hundreds of takeout orders, they have never messed up an order and the food has always been incredible. We love the New Sapporo roll, the spicy tuna roll, and the yellowtail scallion roll - but you can't go wrong with anything. They also have great miso soup, ginger salad, pad thai, and crab rangoons. We feel so lucky so have this spot so close-by. A tip for takeout - they get super busy with orders especially on weekend evenings. Call in advance and schedule your pickup time to make sure you can get your order in!

Came here with my daughter, who wanted some sushi. We ended up getting rolls and really liked them. The place was nice and the staff was awesome. We will be back to enjoy this place again. The restrooms were very clean which is a good indicator for me that the staff cares about the restaurant.

The sushi was great! They were pretty busy when we got there Friday night, so se sat at the bar instead of waiting for a table. The service was great and everyone was working hard to serve customers. The coconut soup was delicious. We will be back for sure.

Our first time at Sapporo and we loved it! Located in the Giant Eagle strip mall off of State & Maxtown next to Game Stop & Classic Pizza. It's a nice, casual atmosphere and service was good. I ordered a small hot sake ($5.85) which was very good and more than enough. My husband and I ordered a Sapporo Roll ($15.95), Smoky Mountain Roll ($14.95), and Karma Roll ($7.95) to share. They were beautifully prepared and presented. Everything was so delicious. There were many items on the menu we were interested in trying. We'll definitely return!

When you first walk in, the restaurant is a little underwhelming. The decor is simple, nothing fancy. Yet, this is one of the best sushi restaurants in Columbus. No need for the frills! However, their sushi presentation is always beautiful. They are always busy with both dine-in patrons and take out orders. They run on limited staff, so come here with some patience. I promise the food is so worth it and is always consistently good. Their sushi rolls are massive here! Specialty rolls are averagely priced for sushi in Columbus, but larger than average! All rolls we ordered were $10-$16. The sweetheart roll is decadent and a steal! $13 for 12 pieces is insane. The rainbow roll is a delicious classic, coming in 8 massive pieces too. If you love a little sweet and spicy mix, the sexy roll is for you!! The crunchy roll is a great choice for BBQ eel lovers. Seriously you can't go wrong with any sushi item here, their fish quality is excellent.
